About Me
I am currently a senior at Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. I have been passionate about art and building my portfolio since middle school, and am currently in my second year of Advanced Placement Art. I specialize in drawing and fine detail work, but also have experience with graphic design, painting, and multi-media collage work. In college, I hope to continue freelancing and pursue a degree in studio art.
About My Work
While I dabble with other mediums, I prefer to work almost exclusively in pencil and charcoal, finding that the ease of transporting these materials allows me to more freely work from life. A majority of my work focuses on my AP art concentration; the distortion of reality by mirrors and reflections. Through my AP concentration as well as my other work, I try to work from life, finding light and shadows to create my detailed pencil work drawings.
